Can BMP item be destroyed when salvaging weapon modifications off? - Guild Wars Forums

Wiki says: "This item cannot be salvaged for materials and cannot be sold to a merchant. Weapon modifications added to the weapon can be salvaged off as normal."

But can Bonus Mission Pack item be destroyed during salvage process?

Yes, it can be destroyed. I had to learn the hard way.

Anything that you can apply mods to (EXCEPT FOR /BONUS ITEMS) can be salvaged to get the mods back off. BUT, the items do have a chance at breaking. To prevent this form happening I recommend using a perfect salvage kit.

Thanks for answers. I was hoping to save storage space/ perfect salvage kits with these (i.e. store weapon modifications), but as expected it is not possible.
